246,000 synonyms are given for nearly 12,500 headwords, with an average of 20 alternatives for each word. A full alphabetical headword list is given for each letter, and the user can access any entry from there by simply clicking on the word. The comprehensive cross-referencing system identifies, by colour highlighting and underlining, every synonym which also appears as an entry in its own right. By clicking on the synonym, the user is taken straight to its entry.

A wildcard search also allows you access to any word for which you only know the first few letters.
