HOW'S IT TASTE?

Bold, rambunctious and filled to the brim with flavour, concentration and intensity. There's Christmas pudding, plum, boysenberry. Brulee, vanilla slice, cherry liqueur and raspberry pastille. Hints of Tonka, coconut and tobacco, while charcuterie and pepper leave their mark. The palate is full-bodied but contained. A real statement wine, built with the Penfolds mantra in mind.

HOW WAS IT MADE?

Parcels of fruit for this wine were identified by the winemakers for their purity, tension and perfect levels of ripeness from a famous single-vineyard. An assortment of batches was then selected from the best parcels in the vineyard and fermented separately. Minimal fining and filtration was carried out prior to bottling. Aged in 100% American oak for 20mths before a further 6 months in bottle. Each heavy-presentation bottle is sealed with calibre corks, and comes in a presentation 3/pack.
