Wrattonbully Cabernet has caught our eye in recent years. A handful of producers have shown us that this South Australian subregion can produce refined and elegant renditions of this old favourite. Merite is one of the labels doing an excellent job at making cellar-worthy and intelligent Cabernet. This one has impressed judges around the country, receiving a 96 point score from James Halliday and a 95 point score from Campbell Mattinson. This is one to try before the secret is out.
